The Coming Season
The Coming Season
The Book of Psalm One

Hello, welcome to spectacle for Christ our Ministery and bible teaching podcast. My name is Kevin President and founder.

Today I would like to share with you a message taking from the book of Psalm chapter one. It is a bible teaching series and podcast that is asking and revealing the answers regarding the mysteries of scripture, and the practical call for Christians to act on God’s word.

Jesus told us we are to go in all the world and proclaim the gospel, and as a Church we have looked upon this instruction as the sole mission of the Church and indeed it.

But are we aware of the urgency as to why we are to go in all the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ? And are we aware we are to be preparing for the coming of the kingdom of God as we go proclaiming the gospel which is the proclamation of the kingdom?

As we go through this short series and study on the book of Pslam chapter one, we hope you will begin to see the urgency of the gospel and become aware of how we are to be preparing for the coming kingdom of God as we work toward the hope of Jesus’ return.

Here are some of the things we will be focusing on in this series and study of Pslam one. We will be focusing on what:

  • The counsel, the way, and seat of the ungodly are
  • What the law of God is
  • What it means to meditate on the law of God
  • What it means to be planted by rivers of water
  • The season in which the righteous brought forth fruit

And many more according to the Psalm to reveal why we are to be urgent about proclaiming the gospel and not be ashamed of the message.

Psalm 1

Psalm 1:1-6 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditates day and night.

He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore, the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
