The Great Cloud

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin president and founder of Spectacle for Christ ministry where we share the wonderful and glorious message of Jesus Christ. Welcome, and I hope you are blessed.

In today’s Podcast titled “The Great Cloud.” I would like to share with you several scriptures taken from the books of the bible inspired by the book of Jude because I know it will make your hearts leap for joy and that you will be hopeful in the Lord. Because what you are about to learn as a Christian is that death is a reward for the Christian, and we are to embrace it as we work to build up the kingdom of God.

Now, this might be breaking away from the traditional teaching of the rapture and the return of Jesus Christ, but just lend us your hearts for a moment and we will explain what we would like for you to know.

In the book of Jude, we read, Jude 1:14-15 “Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying,’ “Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.” Let me repeat, Jude wrote according to Enoch’s prophesy that the Lord cometh with ten thousand of his saints” Not angels as we think of angels. And the reason they are coming is:

“To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

But let’s take a walk a bit farther back into the books of the bible to the book of Revelation, and we will find the same message being reported by John when he wrote: Revelation 1:7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.”

And just to add more context to this message, let’s also listen to what Jesus said to those falsely accusing him as they sentenced him to death. Because standing before the high priest, Jesus held his peace until the high priest demanded of him by the authority of God that Jesus should tell them who he was.

Jesus responding to the demands of the high priest said, Matthew 26:64 I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power,” And listen very closely, “And coming in the clouds of heaven.”

Now, from what we have shared from scripture, it is clear, the cloud Jesus is referring to were not angels with wings, but rather his saints who have passed on into glory who will appear with Jesus Christ to take vengeance against the wicked of the earth.

Jude said, in Jude 1:14-15, Jesus will return with ten thousands of his saints according to Enoch. John said Jesus will return with clouds and the whole earth will morn. And when we read through the scripture. Paul wrote to this reality that some of us will return with Christ, that is those of us who will have passed on into glory before the return of Jesus Christ to establish his kingdom leaving many of us behind on the earth as we await the return of Christ.

Those of us who will have lost loved ones during the time of testing, or due to old age, or natural causes. Upon the return or appearance of Jesus Christ will be transformed in the twinkling of an eye to meet our loved ones and Christ in the air. For as Paul puts it. ‘We shall not all sleep.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-55 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on in corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So, when this corruptible shall have put on in corruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”

So, what is this could we see in the books of the bible on which Jesus rides and will appear on to judge the earth? Let me share one last scripture with you.

Psalms 149:5-9 “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.”

My friend, in the authority of Jesus Christ and the scriptures which is the word of God. I say to you, this cloud is the saints of old, and those of us passing on into glory before the Lord returns.
