The Perfect Man

This entry is part 5 of 6 in the series Secrets of the Bible

Psalm 37:35-40 I have seen the wicked in great power and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.”

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. The LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them because they trust in him.”

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin President and founder of Spectacle for Christ, welcome to Spectacle for Christ Ministry. In today’s message, we would like to confirm that the mark of the beast is the way and life of a man, the fruit he bears so that we might understand how we are to be avoiding the mark of the beast.

And in reference to John, we are to know the mark of the beast is everywhere around us because while we are searching for a physical mark or are trying to understand the number six hundred threescore and six. We seem to forget we were told even now there are many antichrists in the world.

1 John 2:18 “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” And how do we know we have many antichrists among us today?

1 John 2:19 “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” They have turned aside from following Christ and are now standing against him.”

It is by the fruit they bear we shall know them both they that are among us and those who are apart from us in the world, and so we can now understand the mark of the beast and the mark of the man, and the name of the beast is dealing with his authority and the way of his life.

The man of perdition, the head of all antichrists, will force the world to accept his way of life, his policies against the kingdom of God. And the antichrists that will follow him will support his motives against the kingdom of God.

They will seek to destroy the saints of God by and through the changing of the law, for it is by the perversion of the law they will wear out the saints of God, it is by the changing of the law they will prevail against the saints until the ancient of days should appear.

Daniel 7:25 “He shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”

His policies and doctrine will be, antichrist, he will through the law lead the world in opposition against God, he will speak boldly against the saints and he will persecute the righteous. He will seek to punish the upright in land for their obedience to the law of God.

The scripture told us to “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright” But how do we mark the perfect man? We do this by observing the way of his life because the mark of the man is the way of his life; therefore, behold look at the life of the upright. The mark of the perfect is his uprightness.

Therefore, when we compare the scriptures in light of the beast and his mark, it is important we know his mark is his way of life and not a mark on his body, a chip on his forehead or his right hand so that we might not be caught by surprise.

1 John 2:18 “Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” Jesus said, beware of false prophets and it is by their fruits we shall know them, the mark of their life.

So, while we are awaiting the antichrist that we might reject him, or stand against receiving the mark, we are to also look into our lives to see if we are bearing the fruits of God. Because if we are not careful, we might have lifted our hands against the saints of God not knowing we are bearing the fruits of an antichrist.

Paul was a virtuous man according to the law of God, that is the law of Moses, and yet he was an opposer of Christ, an antichrist, but then he came to know the living and true God and was later willing to take up his cross and follow after Jesus Christ even in death.

Acts 9:3-5 “As he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”

Paul was on his way to persecute, imprison, and kill the saints for their acceptance of Jesus Christ. The disciples of Jesus were commanded not to preach in the name or authority of Jesus Christ by the high priest in Jerusalem. Acts 4:18” They called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.”

However, who was the king to whom the disciples submitted? Jesus before leaving said unto his disciples, Matthew 28:18-20 All power is given unto me in heaven and in the earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

All Power is given unto me said Jesus, he was to be obeyed, his law was their authority, and so when they went forth, the disciples and all who will follow Jesus was acting on the law of God through Jesus. Jesus was their authority, his way of life was their mark, and his law to preach the gospel was their mission and mark.

Paul on his way to stamp out the saints of God ran into the Lord, and he himself would come to die for the gospel, and for Jesus Christ. Jesus said at the beginning of his ministry to those he chose, Matthew 4:19 Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

The call was to follow Jesus all the way even in death, to the very cross. It is when we are willing to die for Christ, it is when we are willing to lay down our lives for the gospel we do show we are bearing the mark of Jesus the King.

Matthew 16:24-25 “Jesus to his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.”

In the future to come the saints of God will once again face a great and final opposing empire, an empire whose mission will be to oppose the coming kingdom of God. The faith of the saints of God will be on trial, they will have to learn to endure the coming season of persecution and because of these things, those unprepared for what is about to come against the Church of God will fall away from Christ.

However, we are to take comfort in the life and words of Jesus, John 16:32-33 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
