From what we know about the story of Genesis starting at chapters one to chapters four it is that the scripture is filled with symbolism, and while some of us may disagree believing the bible should be taken literally, it is only fear of us to open our hearts to hear the other side of the story. Because while we may believe the bible can be taken literally and you may have a lot of support on that position, it is important we all know it can be difficult for us to explain some of the things mentioned within the pages of the first four chapters of Genesis.
For example, how many of us are willing to accept the truth the story and account of Genesis chapter one to four is an account of creation and the testimony of Adam, Adam’s repentance after his fall, and that the story of Genesis came after some years of being in the garden.
We know Adam gave birth to Cain when he was about one hundred or one hundred and thirty years old because that is the number of years given to us in the bible accounting for how old Adam was when Seth was born. So, with this information we know Adam must have been living in the garden for some time with his wife before they disobeyed God, which is why we are sharing, the story of Genesis is the account that came after his fall as part of Adam’s confession.
Now, in Genesis chapters one and verse one, it is written, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” And hearing this statement, we know it to be Adam’s acknowledgement there is only one God after his attempt to become a god in rebellion with Satan.
And to give us some insight on what led Adam to have done this, and for us to see how we can impact the kingdom of God, and the impacting role we will play, a role upon the arrival of Christ, and our taking down of the kingdom of the Antichrist. Let us look at how Adam’s decision led to his support of the kingdom of the enemy, and how he came to change his mind to work against the kingdom of Lucifer.
In Isaiah 14:12-15 we read, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou have said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Highest. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. A voice came back at Lucifer.
And if we can remember what Satan’s lies were to Adam after God told Adam in Genesis 2:16-17 “Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die.”
We can see that Satan came in after some time to tempt Adam, Lucifer came in the garden to deceive Adam and his wife, and what he said to Adam and his wife was a story based on what he had planned to do for himself from the beginning. It has always been Satan’s plan to become like God, so it is fitting for us to hear this temptation brought forth in the garden.
God told Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for the day he eats thereof he shall die, but then came Lucifer the deceiver with his old plan to become like God, his plan to rule over the people of God, but to do that man must first submit his will to Lucifer, and the way Lucifer was going to achieve that goal it was by lying to the man and his wife.
Satan said to Adam and his wife, God is a liar, but first he questioned God leading Eve to question God. Genesis 3:1 “he said unto the woman, Yea, has God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” In-other-words, why did God told you not to eat from the trees of the garden? But Eve’s response was, God said we may eat from the trees of the garden, but of the tree that is in the middle of the garden we must not eat of it or touch it less we die.”
That was when Satan said to her, God is a liar, Genesis 3:4-5 “the serpent said unto the woman, you shall not surely die: For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” The woman then upon hearing this, called out to her husband, and after desiring to know what God knows so that they might become like God because in their minds, God is hiding something from them, and if he is, they want to escape his authority, Adam and his wife obeyed Satan and, in that moment, submit to his leadership.
But what the man and his wife did not know, it was a trap to have them hand over their will to the enemy, it was a trap for them to submit to the rule and leadership of Lucifer. Lucifer knew for him to have power there was a need for him to have man submit his will to him, and once they submit to his rule after disobeying God the law of God would come in effect and man would by some means become his subjects under the penalty of death.
Let us remember what Lucifer’s plan was from the beginning, it was to sit on the mount of God in the sides of the north, it was to ascend above the heights of the clouds. But what we did not know nor understand was the meaning behind these sayings because what this all means and show is that Satan’s desire was to sit over the kingdom of God, and to do that he must have the people under his authority.
Now, why are we saying this, we are making this statement because the clouds spoken of by Satan in Isaiah 14:12-15 is dealing with the vast number of people that was to come in the world through Adam. Can we remember what God told Adam after he was created? Genesis 1:28 “God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” Adam was to multiply and produce offspring, offspring who was to be a people unto God the great could of God’s kingdom.
And when we consider what the mount of God is, we are to know it has to do with the government of God on the earth, and that is why for Satan, it was important Adam obeyed his voice rather than God’s because in that moment Satan would have gain access to the mount of God that he might sit on top of the clouds. Therefore, when Christ came in the world Satan saw this as a threat and tried to destroy Jesus and when he failed, he set his mountain, the governments of the world against Christ.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Christ came in the world the seed of the woman, and when he came Lucifer standing over the nations sitting on the throne and governments of the world structed Jesus on the heel, but to come Satan shall fall in the pit and from his height over this world.
But again, where did we get this idea from, it came from the first created man who had done these things in unity with Lucifer at the beginning. And when he was judged for allowing Lucifer to become a lord over the creation placed in his hand, that is Adam’s hands, Adam repented after receiving the promise of redemption through one of his sons to let us know the day of the Lord is coming when Lucifer will fall.
So, when we read, Isaiah 14:13-14 “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Highest.” We can point back to chapters three of Genesis and God’s promise to destroy the government of Lucifer.
This is the battle we see on the arisen and why we are to warn the nations because to come is the final judgment when God will show himself and a day, we will be call upon to judge the world with Christ our part in the momentous event to come.
Psalm 2:1-5 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath and vex them in his sore displeasure.
