So, what do we know about the future according to what we have uncovered in the scripture? We know Adam’s sin was the act of rebellion, and we know his rebellion was the plot of the enemy to take control of the kingdom over which God gave him to rule.
But we must never forget, God made man in his image and likeness, this means, God created mankind for the purpose of making him king over the created works of his hands; therefore, man is accountable to God for how he manages or rule over the kingdom of God.
And as we consider these things, we must try and understand how we came to this position to now be seeking eternal life and access back into the kingdom of God. And in addition to all these things, it is important we understand the methods of the enemy in this battle over the kingdom that belongs to us that we do not repeat or remain in darkness.
The method of the enemy to lead man in rebellion against God is to deceive the nations and turning them against God to achieve his objective. God gave man dominion over his kingdom, and seeing that man had such power, Satan deceived Adam to give up what was most precious to him, his life, and the kingdom of God. And through his method of deception, Satan has now become to be known as the prince of the air and the world, but on account of the curse resting on his empire, the Antichrist will not prevail against the kingdom of Christ.
Now reading Revelation twelve, we see a wonder appearing in the world, a woman cloth with the sun and the moon under her feet, having a crown on her head and twelves stars. And another wonder appearing, a great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns. And knowing what the rebellion of man was, it is clear this is the rise of the empire of Christ the first wonder, and the rise of the empire of the Antichrist, the second wonder and with him the nations over which he has rule and authority, nations he has deceived and is leading in rebellion against the kingdom and kingship of Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 9:6 told us, the governments of the world will stand against Christ, and standing against Christ, they put him to death on the cross. Jesus came into the world to save his people, he also came to restore the kingdom into the hands of his people, and calling his people out from among the world, he appoints us as kings and priests with him. And having this position, the Antichrist and the current world today are at war with the saints of Christ because their desire is to once again take back from the people of God what has been restored to us.
Because of these things, Satan is angry with the saints, and so it is written, Revelation 12:12 “Therefore, rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knows he has but a short time.” Because what we see in the book of Revelation twelve is a woman giving birth to a son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who was caught up to heaven after his resurrection who will return to a kingdom prepared for him from the foundations of the world.
Revelation 12:5 “And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.” And reading these things, we should now ask the question, how will the kingdom of God defeat the Antichrist and put an end to his kingdom? And the answer to that question is, his kingdom will be defeated by the saints of God in whose hands God through Jesus Christ has given the power to execute his will in the earth. They the saints of the Most High will pronounce the judgments and they with the authority of Christ will put the rebelling nations and kings in chains.
Psalms 149:4-9 reads, “For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.”
And because God has made us in his image and likeness, He through Jesus Christ has restored us in his kingdom and according to his will have given us authority over his kingdom to execute his justice and judgments upon the nations.
