In the book of Matthew, we are told a Savior was born, and the purpose of his coming is to save his people from their sins. And the scripture used in connection to show the love of God is John 3:16.

However, has anyone ever asked the question ” what is the sin Jesus came to save us from?” and the other question besides us dying and fall into hell, “how will God carry out the penalty for sin?”

Focusing on the love of God we focus intensely on Matthew 1:21, and John 3:16, which speaks of Jesus coming into the world to save us from our sins. However, how many of us were willing to go a bit further reading the parts of those scripture that speaks about why Jesus came to save us from our sins.

Here are some of the questions we will be asking in this bible study on the topic of Salvation and the Child that was born unto us:

Why did Jesus came into the world?

Who are the people Jesus came to save?

What is the sin Jesus came to save us from?

What do we need saving from?

How will those refusing Jesus pay for their sins?

What can we do to be saved from our sins?

And many more.

On February 11th 20202 at 8:30 PM we will be hosting an open Q&A bible study where we can all share on the questions presented.

Study Dates: Feb 11th, and 25th 2023 from 8:30-9:30 PM EST
