The destruction of sinners

Psalm chapter one is one of the most read Psalm of the bible, but for so many years we have missed understood its message in relation to why the righteous are considered blessed.

For the most part, the righteous are blessed for  avoiding the counsel of the ungodly, and as Christians we strive to do what is right by avoiding the evil counsel of the world. However, do we know what the counsel of the ungodly is and why the righteous are considered blessed for avoiding his counsel? And do we know when this blessing will be realized by the righteous man in the Psalm?

The scripture also speaks of a coming season the righteous experienced being described like a tree planted by rivers of water, and who can tell why this reference was made concerning the righteous?

At the end of the Psalm, we are told the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment and that the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but what does these things all mean, an what should we take away from this message and prophecy?

Let us get together and discuss these matters so that we might understand the word of God and the revelation of this Psalm.
